Driven Marketing Manager for eCommerce Software Company

We are Interspire, a privately owned company which develops content management, shopping cart, knowledge management and email marketing software. We are currently seeking an exceptional candidate with demonstrable success in developing and successfully implementing marketing programs for web-based software products and services to the SMB space.

We are seeking a Marketing Manager ready for the challenge of developing and executing successful marketing programs to build awareness, create demand, and generate leads for our products and services. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Marketing Manager will be based in our Austin office and will work together with our teams in Austin, Sydney and London.

The Marketing Manager will have full responsibility for marketing communications including branding, public and media relations, creative and copywriting as well as lead generation activities both traditional (trade shows, advertising) and online campaigns, both SEO and email. Additionally, the Marketing Manager will develop effective sales tools for our internal sales teams and our channel partners.

• Create, implement and drive fully integrated marketing and sales programs to communicate product and business information to customers and partners that drive market interest and sales lead generation while ensuring consistent messaging and communication inside and outside the organization.
• Establish success metrics and performance indicators and track results to calculate ROI on all marketing programs.
• Develop and manage reporting on site and email campaign statistics, visitor behavior and trends. Establish and report KPIs and actual revenue on SEO and email campaigns.
• Expand social media, social marketing, blog, buzz and viral marketing campaigns. Manage and monitor community and user forums.
• Develop and manage media and public relations strategies and activities.
• Build productive working relationships with staff, internal teams, external partners, vendors and management

Qualifications:
• 7+ years of experience working in the marketing discipline developing, managing, and executing broad-based marketing strategies with an emphasis on demand generation/account acquisition
• Proven experience with developing and successfully implementing marketing programs for web-based software products and services to the SMB space
• Experience with CRM, Web analytics and marketing resource management solutions
• Strong project management skills coupled with a high attention to detail and superior multi-tasking abilities
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strong business judgment, and high level of initiative, creativity and flexibility
• Bachelor’s in Business, Marketing or related field or equivalent years of experience
• Demonstrated ability to operate in a small company, fast paced environment, balancing both strategic and tactical responsibilities
