LibreDigital a dynamic, well funded startup in Austin, Texas seeks applicants for a new position within its Software Engineering department.

Java/API Engineer:
Seeking someone with a mastery of both understanding the information content of data and in transforming and preparing the data for cloud distribution and reporting purposes.

Key Responsibilities:
• Build interfaces that provide services for consumption by external applications
• Participated in all aspects of the development lifecycle, from design to development to deployment and on-going enhancement
• Work with the rest of the development team to ensure end to end architectural, functional and protocol consistency
Qualifications:
• 3+ years developing APIs used by third-party applications, in hands-on design and development
• Design and implementation of scalable high-reliability systems
• Strong understanding of security approaches and implications (SSL, SQL injection, etc)
• Expert knowledge of various service technologies such as XML, HTTP, SOAP, REST, Web Services, Jboss, Tomcat
• Expert Java skills (Front end and Back end development)
• SaaS experience
• BSCS or related
