Implementation Manager – Distance Learning

We are looking for a key person in our company to provide support to district personnel and school faculty so they can incorporate effective strategies into classroom practice using our newest product. As the Implementation Manager, you will use your modeling of instructional best practices to coach teachers on how to integrate our products into their curriculum, instruction and assessment practices. Your extensive knowledge in the areas of Instructional Quality and best practices in teaching will make your contribution in this role significant.

Our company is growing and we are looking for the best of the best… contributors who are passionate about education with a proven history of success, and impeccable work ethic. The Implementation Manager will be based out of Austin, TX. A heavy travel schedule will be required during peak periods.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist schools and districts in aligning our product to local scope and sequence documents
Serve as a product expert, applying this knowledge to all forms of customer service, including training, facilitating and relationship building
Guide teachers with designing classroom assesments as well as running assessment reports
Guide teachers in developing and modifying student individualized learning paths
Provide training and / or support in the development of computer competencies that lead to extended integration of our product curriculum into classroom istruction
Assist prinicpals with the development of professional development plans that integrate our product into instructional practice
Gather information regarding effectiveness of our programs; interpret and provide constructive input for improvement

Requirements:

BA degree with teaching credentials in a specific content area (Literacy, Mathematics, Science, K-8, etc.)

Master’s degree in Education is a plus

Experience and ability to provide multiple methods of delivery (i.e. Webinar, online conference calls, video-based presentations, etc.) for professional development opportunities

Knowledge of current and longstanding educational research and instructional best practices

Knowledge of national, regional, state, and local reform policies and issues

Experience in creating, organizing, and delivering professional development for adults, using multiple methods of delivery

Knowledge and application of the National Staff Development Council Standards on Professional Development

Experience facilitating online courses preferred with an openness to becoming skilled in online facilitation

Minimum of four years of successful work experience in education: teaching, coaching, curriculum specialist, and/or school/district administrator

Effective presentation and interpersonal skills

Technology literacy: Using laptop computers (either PC or MAC), Smartboards, projectors, standard Microsoft Production Suite Software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Internet and e-mail usage
