SEEKING CALL CENTER REPS IN DOWNTOWN AUSTIN

We are seeking Call Center Reps for our client in downtown Austin. Candidates are expected to perform the following responsibilities:
• Assist customers with pre-sales questions
• Register and renew consumers
• Answer incident-specific and industry-related questions
• Adequately explain how different aspects of the service work for different sets of consumers
• Possess adequate multitasking, communication and computer skills to navigate different programs while providing phone support
• Work as a team with other representatives, as well as be able to self-manage on special projects if needed
• Be able to follow frequent revisions to procedures and absorb continually updated information on client accounts
• Consistently arrive on time and with a positive attitude

The call center is open from Monday-Saturday, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm CST. All CSRs must be able to work a 40-hour week during these times, including some Saturdays. Employees have the opportunity to be off on rotating Saturdays. Overtime is occasionally available as well.

The position is temp-to-hire and pay starts at $11.00/hour and $11.50 for bilingual. We require an education level of High School degree or equivalent, some college is preferred. Previous customer service experience is ideal, but call center experience exclusively is not required.
