About the Role:

Want to be part of the digital media revolution? Want to participate in changing the way people read/consume content? We are seeking to hire an experienced Technical Product Manager to provide critical support to our Senior Product Managers. This position reports to the Director, Product Management and will operate as the product owner to the multi-functional scrum team. The Technical Product Manager is a crucial role in creating and maintaining the strategic partnership between Business needs and Technology delivery in an Agile development environment. As the tactical representative of the product to the execution team, the Technical Product Manager must have a unique blend of technical, analytical, creative, communication and consensus-building skills.


• Working closely with Senior Product Managers in understanding the market dynamics, the associated product strategy and the epic user stories to align with the strategy
• Complete the necessary analysis with LibreDigital staff, customers and partners to define lower-level user stories that accurately reflect the product direction and the intention of the epic user stories produced by the Senior Product Managers
• Work with the scrum master to administer and prioritize user stories into sprints to appropriately drive functional capabilities in the product based on external needs
• Work closely with a multi-function team (scrum master, user experience, designer, DBA, developer, architect) to provide the necessary information for them to be utilized efficiently and deliver the desired product
• Actively participate in team meetings and provide product direction (daily stand ups, pre-sprint planning, post-sprint review, topic drill-downs
• Lead special projects on behalf of the team (and/or product) where a deep understanding of the business requirements and constraints must be applied in the process, analysis and ultimate recommendation
• Develop and deliver presentations and/or written documents to effectively communicate and provide the necessary context for the team including:
o Functional concepts
o Analysis results and recommendations
o Business requirements
o Business processes
o Business rules
o User flows
o User stories
o Acceptance criteria
o Non-functional requirements
• Actively keep up with industry standards, industry analysis and perspectives, competitive intelligence, corporate and product strategy
• Plan and manage beta programs with multiple customers prior to the rollout of a formal release
• Work closely with Product Marketing Managers to develop outbound collateral and sales training materials in preparation for a product launch
• Work closely with Sales Consulting to develop adequate demos to satisfy the recommended use cases for target audiences


• BA/BS Degree in an MIS, business technology or related field
• Strong technical background is required with 2+ years as a software engineer a MUST HAVE.
• 3-5 years as a Business Analyst or Technical Product Manager, building and specifying mission critical business applications
• Experience with the following: conducting technology assessments, analyzing the competitive landscape, maintaining product portfolio roadmap, monitoring and incorporating industry innovations and defining user personas.
• Exceptional analytics skills with proficiency in reporting and data visualization
• Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively and confidently with users, team members and management
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills
• Must be flexible and willing to undertake a wide variety of challenging tasks
• Strong facilitation skills
• Must be able to elicit requirements from various personalities across organizational and geographical boundaries
• Proven experience at driving consensus across multiple stakeholders
• Process driven analysis skills and a background in various requirements elicitation methods
• Proficiency with Agile SDLC processes and experience with an Agile requirements management tool
