We’re seeking a Director of Demand Management to create, manage and execute campaigns to drive our business forward. This is a great opportunity for a self‐directed individual who thrives in

Based in Austin, TX, we develop and market educational software for the K‐12 school market. We sell nationally with a direct sales force and inside sales organization. Because of our track record and history within the industry, we enjoy strong brand equity and a great market reputation.

Our new Director of Demand Management will be responsible for creating innovative direct marketing campaigns while optimizing our web site and existing campaigns to generate sales leads. This position is critical

to expanding our pipeline and accelerating our sales growth. The Director will combine both strategic and tactical marketing skills to conceptualize and execute campaigns. Experience with CRM, marketing automation, solution selling methodology, email marketing, online marketing, event marketing, persona‐based targeting, copywriting and project management are required.

Responsibilities:

Develop the demand generation plan aligned with business objectives.
Manage a small but highly skilled demand generation team.
Drive the development and execution of direct marketing programs that include direct mail, SEO/SEM, social networking and messaging automation.
Establish target response rates, conversion rates and ROI for all programs and track against results for analysis and campaign optimization.
Test, test, test…
Manage of the all demand generation activity and data in the Salesforce system.
Clear and regular communication of demand generation activities throughout the company.
Internal relationships will span the organization in both seniority (C‐level to Staff) and business function.

To be Qualified You’ll Have:

7‐10 years of B2B marketing experience with a solution sales strategy.
Bachelors degree in Marketing or Business, MBA is a plus.
Track record of planning and executing marketing programs to meet demand generation targets.
Strong project management experience, including managing external agencies.
Experience with Web 2.0 marketing initiatives: blogs, SEO, SEM, social networks and video.
A strong knowledge of and direct experience with both Eloqua and Salesforce.
