Implementation Associate (Temporary)

The Role: Implementation Associate (Temporary)

Become associated with an organization that is deeply committed to creating curriculum and assessment solutions that motivate today’s students to engage, think and learn. We are looking for a qualified professional to join our team on a temporary basis as an Implementation Associate (IA). The Implementation Associate will serve as the onsite representative for our clients Professional Development Services Solution, providing individual and group support to enable district personnel and school faculty to incorporate effective strategies into classroom practice.

The Implementation Associate must have extensive experience and knowledge in the areas of Instructional Quality and best practices in teaching. Overall abilities must extend not only to small and large group presentations, but also modeling of instructional best practices that incorporate our product into the curriculum, instruction and assessment practices.

In addition to providing the initial professional development sessions, it is expected that an Implementation Associate supports the Professional Development organization in the following ways:

* Establish in-depth knowledge of our product and applies this knowledge to all forms of customer service, including training
* Assist teachers with running assessment reports using our program
* Assist teachers in developing and modifying student individualized learning paths
* Provide training and/or support in the development of computer competencies to reinforce integration of our product with classroom instruction
* Provide follow-up communication with school and district personnel to share information or answer questions as it relates to the initial foundation training
* Perform related support duties and responsibilities as required

Job Requirements:

* BA degree with teaching credentials in general education or a specific content area (Literacy, Mathematics, Science, etc.)
* Master’s degree in Education optional
* Knowledge of current and longstanding educational research and instructional best practices
* Knowledge of national, regional, state, and local reform policies and issues
* Experience in creating, organizing, and delivering professional development for adults, using multiple methods of delivery, knowledge and application of the National Staff Development Council Standards on Professional Development
* Experience facilitating online courses preferred; openness to becoming skilled in online facilitation required
* Minimum of four years of successful work experience in education: teaching, coaching, curriculum specialist, and/or school/district administrator
* Effective presentation and interpersonal skills
* Excellent communication skills both written and oral
* Technology literacy: Using laptop computers (either PC or MAC), Whiteboards, projectors, standard Microsoft Production Suite Software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Internet and e-mail usage
* This is a home office opportunity with heavy travel required; ability to travel long distances via automobile. Some airplane travel is required
