Software Support Analyst / Technical Trainer
Our client is looking to hire an experienced Software Support Analyst / Technical Trainer to join the team. We are looking for a highly motivated, goal-oriented individual who will be responsible for providing Customer Software Support and field- based Technical Training for our Texas de-regulated electric industry software products and services. The ideal candidate will have a keen focus on servicing customer’s technical needs and a demonstrated ability to deliver a high level of software training and documentation.

Software Support Responsibilities:
Handle customer software support inquiries
Document and troubleshoot back office database issues and run daily operational procedures
Assist in maintaining customer documentation and procedures and follow proper Customer notification processes
Work effectively and professionally with other team members

Technical Trainer Responsibilities:
Develop software training curriculum and software user documentation in conjunction with the software development team
Provide comprehensive professional software training to customer end-users and trainers in the field and through e-learning delivery
Delivery software demonstrations in support of Sales Team customer prospect activities
Share knowledge with others by documenting and contributing to knowledge base

Bachelor’s Degree in technical related field, such as MIS, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience
5+ years experience in delivering professional software training services and customer software support

Friendly, professional and trustworthy with the ability to build rapport with customers

Ability to travel within Texas and provide own transportation (20%+)

Experience with and/or conceptual knowledge of the following technologies is a plus: ASP, ASP.NET, HTML, XML, SQL, Microsoft Visual Studio and Internet Information Services (IIS)

Knowledge of and/or experience in de-regulated electric industry and EDI fundamentals is helpful
