Helpdesk Technician

HELPDESK TECHNICIAN (AUSTIN)
Texas Systems Group, http://www.txsysgrp.com, is seeking a talented full-time employee to join our team who is detail-oriented, has strong communication skills, and is a proactive team member. Skills needed to master this position include the ability to coordinate and interface with multiple clients and aggressively follow up on details. We need professionals who can perform independently, as well as work within a team environment.
Customer Service is the highest priority. Candidates must be compassionate and understanding when dealing with customers. They must have great listening and communications skills.
The candidate MUST have experience supporting remote users in a corporate environment. Preference is given to Helpdesk Technicians with certifications. Expertise of the following area is essential to succeed in this position:
• Receive inbound calls and qualify service dispatch calls
• Accurately manages the documentation, initial analysis, prioritization, escalation, tracking and feedback of all incidents received at the Help Desk
• Escalates tickets to second level analyst or supervisor when cases cannot be solved at the first level
• Perform first level remote technical support of incidents
• Ensures the quality of the logged information and that it accurately states the customer’s issue/request
• Experience supporting Windows XP, Vista 7 systems as well as Microsoft Office and Outlook/Exchange
• Add/Update Domain User Accounts and Exchange Mailboxes
• Installing/Configure/Support Remote Systems
This position requires strong communication, troubleshooting, and execution skills. Candidate must be self motivated and able to manage time effectively. This position may also require commuting to multiple client locations in the Greater Austin Area.
Candidates will be required to pass a security background check and drug screen.
