Well funded software startup in Austin Texas is seeking LOCAL applicants for a customer-facing Key Account Manager to act as primary liaison between our company and selected customers and partners. The Key Account Manager is responsible for managing the relationship with each customer or partner and coordinating successful outcomes for their clients’ initiatives.
Responsibilities
•Act as primary contact for the client, working with various departments to address the client’s day-to-day needs
•Communicate effectively at all levels of the client’s organization
•Track and manage client issues, including projects at any stage of implementation – ranging from initial requirements gathering, to execution of a formal project plan, to ongoing maintenance
•Work with the client and company personnel to set expectations
•Coordinate interdepartmentally to ensure timely and accurate completion of each phase of a project
•Present the results of the project to the client, with any training or documentation that may be necessary
•Review and contribute to contracts and other documentation related to current or prospective clients
•Evaluate and assist in development and delivery of product training documentation and conduct training sessions
•Provide reporting as needed by the client and other departments within LibreDigital

Requirements:
•3+ years in a customer service role
•Strong experience with account management
•Strong interest in publishing and digital content
•Experience with creating and conducting training sessions
•Experience with negotiating ad working against a contract
•Strong experience in tracking issues and creating reports
•Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite
•Team player who can work intelligently, independently and effectively while always prioritizing client satisfaction
•Desire to work in a fast-paced startup environment
•Experience working strategically and tactically on a high performance team with multiple priorities and tight deadlines
•Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills required

Preferences
•Liberal Arts background or Business Degree with specialty/interest in fields such as English or Journalism, Digital Production/Media
•Working knowledge in the publishing and/or Digital Asset Management Industry
•Previous client service or account management experience
