Digital Sales Manager

Job Description:
We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated Digital Sales Manager for Clear Channel Radio Austin with a proven history in sales; who exhibits strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire Austin’s cluster sales team to digital success. Candidate must be a self-starter, proactive problem solver and an independent worker with a track record in digital sales.
Job Requirements:
•In depth knowledge and understanding of Digital Sales including e-commerce, streaming /display/video and Rich Media advertising. •Grow and manage business relationships with key agencies and direct advertisers. •A proven track record of producing significant revenue •Understanding of SMS Texting, Mobile Display and Social Media •Proven ability to establish and manage relationships with decision makers at key, national, regional and local agencies and direct clients in region •Experienced with account executive training and development to increase productivity and revenue results • Develop, implement and communicate sales strategies and action plans.
•Ability to leverage resources and maximize sales talent to achieve revenue goals. • An understanding of Strategic Account Management. •Understanding of on line CPM Inventory Management and pricing structures with effective implementation to generate desired station revenue results• Ability to analyze and report to upper management regarding station and market revenue activity. • Effective negotiation of direct and agency business with an understanding of radio ratings and PPM methodology. • Must be proficient in developing effective and comprehensive business plans for revenue growth.
• Light design work required.
• College education preferred. Previous Managerial experience of a minimum of three years is desired, but not required.
• Proficiency in Final Cut Pro and/or Adobe Premiere, as well as lower-end programs like iMovie and Windows Movie Maker a plus.
• Exhibits strong leadership skills and the ability to recruit and inspire the sales talent.
• Strong background in the online space including graphic design. Skills in advanced HTML and Flash a plus.
• Aptitude in basic design and presentation programs including Photoshop and PowerPoint.
• An exceptionally positive attitude is required. This leadership position requires a relentless “get it done” work ethic.
• Must be a creative thinker and able to develop campaign concepts
• Good people skills and the desire to work in a team-oriented environment
• Proven track record working with and managing digital assets
• Omniture/Ando Media Site Catalyst experience a plus
• Must have knowledge of FLASH, Photoshop & video editing programs
• Knowledge and passion for digital business development a must
