IT Helpdesk Intern

Description
Zenoss is looking for an intern to help man the IT help desk in the Austin office. This position will primarily consist of helpdesk tasks assisting employees. There will be plenty of opportunities to learn as you go, solving new problems and finding ways to improve current processes and solutions. You will be working with our current IT team which is split between Annapolis and Austin.

Duties:
• Windows and Mac desktop support
• Peripheral support (printers, phones)
• Business application support (MS Office, email clients)
• Miscellaneous IT tasks based on skill level and workload permitting

Skill requirements:
• 2+ years of MS Windows (XP, Vista, 7) and Mac (Leopard, Snow Leopard) support experience
• 2+ years of MS Office (2003, 2007, 2010) support experience, especially Outlook
• Experience troubleshooting common PC hardware and software issues
• Able to learn on the job, ask questions when needed, and self-manage when possible

Optional desired skills:
• HTML, CSS, JS experience
• Linux sysadmin experience
• SQL experience
• CRM experience

Type: Part time- up to 20 hrs per week
