Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Java developer analyst for a long term contract position with a government client located in Huntsville Texas. The client has approximately 39,000 employees located across the State of Texas and maintains a complex mainframe and web based case management system to track the life cycle of constituents within this government agency. The technologies include CICS, COBOL, DB2, Java, Weblogics, Solaris, Visual SourceSafe, Hyperion (Brio) SQR.

The candidate will design, develop, construct and implement new Java applications which will replace current technology. The web development tools are Java, Weblogics, DB2.

This position will begin upon acceptance by the client and will continue through August 31, 2012. Contract extensions are likely.

All candidates will be subject to a criminal background and fingerprint check before final acceptance.

Minimum Skills Required:
• 5 years experience as a Java developer
• 5 years experience with DB2 databases.
• 3 years experience Java development using WebLogics
• Experience using configuration management tools
• Experience using JSF, JSP
• Experience with SQL
• Knowledge and understanding of web-based tools and technologies.
Experience in independent analysis, developing and testing techniques
