Inside Sales Specialist

Our client is an event technology solutions provider focused on marketing metrics for tradeshows, conferences, and events. The company was the first to offer an Intelligent Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) solution to track attendee interests and preferences at conferences. Our client has extensive experience in successfully delivering event solutions for RFID, Lead Management, Mobile, and Social Media.

Summary:

Work with Business Development Representatives to support them in order to meet and exceed assigned business goals.

Essential Job Functions:

• Produce quotes; provide technical product information on an ongoing basis.
• Work with the Business Development Reps in the composition and development of sales proposals
• Conduct targeted calling campaigns to participating companies at identified trade shows and conferences
• Work with Marketing in executing outbound campaigns to prospects for assigned trade show events
• Set up qualified appointments for Business Development Reps
• Collaborate with Marketing on tracking and reporting sales activities through Salesforce CRM
• Team with Business Development Reps to be familiar with all deals that are in the pipeline—update Salesforce CRM as necessary
• Support VARs and partners.
• Answer incoming sales calls i.e., answering questions, qualifying incoming leads.

Experience and Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 2 – 3 years sales or related experience.
• Salesforce.com or related CRM experience
• Proven track record of Inside Sales for technology companies
• Knowledge of trade events industry preferred.
• Results oriented individual with a proven ability to work both independently and part of a team.
• Must be self-motivated and well organized.
• Excellent phone, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to quickly learn and communicate company and product solutions
• Ability to work in a fast, changing environment.
• MS Office
• Constant Contact knowledge a plus
