Online Content Coordinator

Core Responsibility:
 Create and manage content for station websites, maintain and upgrade websites, provide support for use of the websites and support station promotional efforts. Provide on-site support for live appearances and shows and cover appointed sporting and lifestyle events.
Essential Duties:
 Create and manage online content
 Create appropriate graphics, landing pages, widgets and other devices to promote and explain station promotions.
 Manage national content to maximize interest.
 Maintain current knowledge of the templates and other corporate provided tools to keep our web pages compliant with best practices and listener interest.
 Manage local and station content to maximize visitor interest.
 Provide support to on-air staffs and others who use the station website.
 Gather analytical data and provide reports in a timely fashion.
 Ensure station websites are SEO friendly
 Monitor websites to detect any possible copyright infringement.
 Provide on-site support
 Be responsible to set-up, man and tear down assigned on-site events and broadcasts.
 Work with promotions and engineering to learn and capably handle necessary equipment.
 Transport necessary equipment to and from on-site events in company vehicle.
 Support station promotional efforts
 Attend weekly meetings to stay current on station involvement and provide input on web support.
 Create several graphics for each promotion and contest to maintain listener interest over the life of the promotion or contest.
 Review all content and rules to ensure legality and adherence to corporate policy.
 Maintain the site to ensure all promotions and contests remain fresh and relevant.
 Learn and master all systems involved with promotional aspects of the stations including but not limited to: scheduling of on-air and streaming promotional announcements, ordering of those announcements, vehicular rules and usage, on-site station appearance execution, use of equipment in our lounge and video and audio equipment.
 Occasional manning of station events in support of promotional efforts.

Required Skills/Education & Certification:
• Bachelors Degree or more desired
• Minimum 1 year experience in web design, graphic design or related field
• Proficient in Flash, HTML, CSS and audio and video editing and other web software.
• Proficient in all MS Office programs and database management.
