We are currently seeking a full time Staff Accountant to report to the Director of Operations. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for the following duties.

• Project Cost Accounting – Set up and maintain projects in Ajera project cost software, work closely with project managers to update project status, produce reports and analysis needed to assist project managers, and set up and maintain project files.
• Billings – Review pre-billing information for invoicing before distribution to project managers, assist project managers with billing related problems, print invoices, attach all back-up documentation, finalize and mail invoices, and follow-up with client to ensure receipt.
• Accounts Receivable – Maintain good client relationships while collecting outstanding balances, post cash receipts, and resolve payment/balance discrepancies.
• Accounts Payable – Review, research, and post incoming project related and company related payables. Responsible for printing checks, attaching back up, obtaining signatures, and mailing checks as appropriate.
• Payroll and time entry – Review and reconcile weekly time sheets and prepare spreadsheets for payroll processing by a third party vendor. Prepare spreadsheets for submission of 401(k) match, HSA filings, group insurance and other payroll related activities.
• Human Resources – Set up and maintain employee files, orient new hires, administer company benefit programs, maintain a professional working relationship with benefit providers, and assist employees with any personnel related matters.
• Bank Reconciliations – Reconcile multiple accounts on a monthly basis.

• Other – Scan documents into a computerized archive system, assist with general office duties including back-up of receptionist, and special projects.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
